That'll be a lend-lease L-21 Super Cub supplied to Italy (and many other countries) in the post war years. There are lot of them and the L-21 Cub here in Europe. I think it would have had an O-290 originally. I used to instruct in one and owned an L-18.

    HI Fred
Just been looking at your website. Have you flown with the 850-6 Aero Classic tyres yet? I'm looking for ways of increasing angle of attack on the ground.
    Regards

Thanks Bryce. I assume we're talking empty CofG here?
Sounds like mine may be a little on the heavy side..

Gosh Bryce, such personal questions for a first conversation...
It weighs 588 lbs with 12.5" CofG. Is that good or bad?

It tows very well and there's a fair weight on the hitch.

Thanks all and I'll certainly be posting some figures once I have some. I'm actually more of a STOL guy so am thinking of building some bigger wings at some point and maybe a taller/wider gear.

    Hi from the UK
Hi, I've been lurking for a few weeks since deciding to buy my MK4 Avid Speedwing G-BVYX (Jabiru). I don't know a great deal about Avids yet but this site is a fantastic resource which I'm very grateful for.
I haven't flown anything but paramotors for about 10 years but have a few thousand hours on a lot of taildraggers in the past and am really looking forward to renewing my licences on my Avid starting next week!
