Well i dont know alot either but least we know when a motor sounds like its runnin right and begs to b flown!! That kf 4 is lookin nice Jim, i hope mining goes good this year so i can pickup the kf 4 this winter im lookin at in arizona from a friend.
Well just wondering. Seams that would help, cause as one bends and not the other bends the distance becomes more from front to rear leg, not saying its the cure just may help give strengh, i c even stock gear with a brace sometimes, so if she bottomed out and bent gear does it look like the left gear bent, pulled the center thro the spring mayb pulled right longeron towards the left and bent the support tube also that goes from left to right? The one right under the fuseloge? Or is that tube made that way?
Mayb a support welded between front and rear leg help put some strengh in it? And a step to boot if u dont cover them. Seams like long run for the legs without something. And is the tube running from left to right on front of gear right under fuse little bent also?

When i work for a snowmachine repair shop when younger i was shown to pull the rope 3times like ur starting it on each cyl to get ur compression reading. Id say 4 would b ok also long as u check both the same way and dont over do the pulling. Hope thats right its always worked for me.
Well we know what ivo will say. Rest of prop is ok,it just been tagged on the tip, Just wanted to start it up, and cant afford to buy a prop now, not interested in takin prop off other kitfox either. And im guess u shouldnt start up the 582/c box without a prop? Or is that ok?
Yes the blades where to long and short pedistals on the skis, just wanted to start motor up for first time run and i thought u suppose to have a prop on when startin motor. Probably wont run for more than 15min at close to idel to check leaks, exh temps, carb settins, the plane is just in "mockup" once all is good im going to totaly disassemblie and recover ect. If they all same lenght and weight same i cant c how out of balance could happen.
