Yes, removable for covering, and other things.
I used one piece of fabric from top center stringer to bottom center stringer. Saved almost $1000 in oratex. Doing it that way put the handle in the “middle” of the fabric.
the way the fabric stretches when you “stretch” it around the frame makes any hole problematic, bigger the hole the bigger the problem.

I decided I did not like the factory lift handle so I cut it of and made a new one for each side - and I made them removeable.
First pic is sand in tube to keep it from deforming.
So I welded a “pin” to the fuselage that the handle would fit snug on, and welded a short piece of flatened tube to mate with the flatened end of lift handle, and drilled for bolts.
This made fitting the fabric much easier, not such a large hole for the large handle. Just small punctures.

That is good to know. I have Assumed that any exposed glue wiuld look bad if there is no paint applied. So I have been using plain masking tape to keep it confined. The preglued tapes should make covering all seams and glue easier.

    Fuselage
As many times as I tried to screw this up - I am very happy with the results. Not bad for my first cover job.
Oratex may not be your thing if you are a perfectionist. Fortunately for me that has never been a problem.

Yes mill and lathe and surface grinder

as for the glue - I have not seen it turn yellow.
    maybe in the sun?
I do Know you have be carefull to ONLY put glue where it will be covered by fabric. Or wash it of - WITH WATER! But this is only a problem because you are not spraying that heavy paint all over everything. :)

    I really like it!
but, you have to think differently.
It is much stronger and tougher - and forgiving.
And lung friendly, no painting is good!!
