OK, after a few drinks, some nut scratching and a few pissy emails, I think i figured out the pic posting issue... you guys try and post up some pics and see if it works for ya!
On another note, the supprot guys ran a script that seems to have fixed all the older attachments that were no showing as thumbnails after the conversion... Things are looking up here!

I have tech support working the issue.. I have double and triple checked all the little check boxes and right you all members have full access to do everything but boot me off the forum.... damn good thing I have that box un-checked or you guys would have me outa here in a NT second... bear with me, I'll get this biatch up and running right ASAP!

The Avatar being hosed was because the default was a tiny ass pic that I could not see. I bumped the size up and it will automatically re-size the avatar. When it blew up the little bitty one, they got fuzzy... Growing pains.
I will check the settings, as it seems that you are now having the issues with the pic upload that I was having on the old software... I will get this shit figured out or hire someone else who can....

I am going to make another account, and log in as a member and see if I can reproduce the issues you guys are having... Bear with me, I will get this figured out and get it up and running smooth. Right now i am in class 8-10 hrs a day so I have not had the time during the day that I normaly would have for playing on the forum and getting it set up and tweaked just right... I will get it there though!

under the window you are typing in, there is a button that says "click to attach files" Hit that, then click on the pic you want and hit upload... you can add more than one pick by clicking the attach button again.

Hope not... I am in class all this week so I wont be posting much till this weekend.. Then I should have some more flying and duck hunting vids and pics. I hope the weather guessers are wrong and we dont have mixed rain and snow this weekend.. I want clear skys and sunshine... is that really too much to ask for

The IP comes back to a China address. I did a google search, and this Fstick seems to be hitting alot of sites. I just went in and changed some security settings so let me know if you get attacked again!
Just under the search bar on my screen, I have a "view new content" icon you can click and it will only bring up the new posts.

Can you tell me the type of worm, and what antivirus caught it? I am running 4 different ones between my laptop and work computers and none have "caught" anything or given any warnings... Not doubting you, but need to know what "worm" it was so I can look it up and see if I can figure out what is going on.
I am thinking that your antivirus, or firewall may be doinking up the cookies.. Another issue I have had with another snowmobile forum... If I just log on from my laptop, I am fine, if I log in from another computer, I have to re-log in on my laptop again. The site remembers and logs your IP addy, so when you log in from another IP, it will hose you up and make you log in again. I will see if there is a software setting that I can help with so it does not do this... I am sure it is in the site security setting some place..

it may be running off the old cookies.. you may have to clear your cookies and try it again. I can run all over from different computers and it keeps me logged in, using IE and firefox.

yes that is the issue.. on new posts, the pics are showing up as thumbnails as they are suppose to, the old posts, they either show as links or they dont show at all. I can go in thru the control panel and see that everyones pictures are still there, they are just not showing right. I have tech support looking into it ans will see what they can come up with.

I am still getting used to the look of the board.. mine looks different than the other members with more bells and whistles on each page, but it make moderating and moving topics around alot easier for me!
The bird will get a full tear down and rebuild. Bob has already stripped the fuse and tail feathers and will start work on the wings next. All rib hangers will have to be replaced as well as alot of other work.. I guess I know what I will be helping to do this winter! These birds are too damn cool to let them sit and rot so I am VERY glad that Bob decided to rescue this one from a sad fate!

My F'd up new full lotus floats#$%%^#%$^#& damnit... Finally got around to putting my new floats on today. Got the rigging out and took the new floats out of the box... sumbitch if one of them does not have the tail section sewed on crooked. CAlled Full lotus and they are going to send out a new one. Guess I did not want to go moose hunting this year anyway. Maybe they will have me the new one and I can salvage part of the duck hunting season.

My new 1450 Full lotus floatsGot those sweet puppies almost dialed in. Need to drop the rear struts about another half inch and she will be perfect. Got to fly an external load today as I could not get the Zodiac inside the plane. I figured I would have a bit of rolling issues or yaw, but there was none. Cruised it over at 5800 and 77 MPH on the ground 85 IAS.

I did the same thing.. the JB weld did not last very long at all.
Mine leak when I fill them to the top. The caps did not have the big vent tubes in them when I got the plane. I asked the previous owner and he said he never had any issues with fuel starvation.... I didnt trust it so I put the vents in the caps.
I think that when you punch the guts out of the cap to put the vent tube in, you loose the valve that keeps it from seeping around the little ribs inside the cap. I am going to fill mine full of glue and see if that will stop the leak. I wish I had pics of it so I could point it out, but I am at work and cant get any for you right now..

OK guys, got the site converted to the new software, but I think I am having issues with the attachments.. I am working on that and will see what the deal is and get the bugs worked out! Bear with me as I learn a few new trick to making this work.

you have a hell of alot more patience than me... I didn't wait for the FAA inspector etc.. I got it put together, had my AI buddy come look at it and she was in the air.. actually, I flew it before the AI came and looked at it I had been involved in flying and rebuilding others so I was not worried about my work so I figured what the hell, they gonna take away my birthday? so I loaded her up, headed for he airport and flew up a storm.
NO WAY I could wait months before seeing all that work get into the air!
Do you have any time flying a KF or Avid?
