IMO,  None of them are "bad" - extended speed wing is better than short wing, STOL may be a little better than ext. speedwing, and Kitfox has longest wings.  Look at "Some Avid Specs" I posted in Files and Forms section.   EDMO

    Trying to contact Joey C5Engineer
I keep going to members list to send message to Joey, but it keeps coming up with "error" when I click on his name, so am posting PM here:
Joey,  If you don't have a radiator yet, I just got a new 912 rad in the mail.  Also have new 912 exhausts, muffler.  And some other Kitfox parts that will be for sale later at less than Kitfox or Rotax prices.  PM me.  EDMO

Unless you are thoroughly educated and comfortable operating 2-strokes, like myself, you are better off with a Jab or some other 4-stroke, IMO.  EDMO

  5. EDMO added a post in a topic Germans are attacking !!!!

AS a youngster of 19, I graduated from the Army communication schools and got on board a ship headed for Germany.  We docked for a day at South Hampton, England, in the English Channel - to my surprise, a black submarine went past us with the German Iron Cross markings - I wondered if we were at war again!  Ha!  Some German hotshot pilot buzzed our headquarters building twice, flying a plane that looked and sounded like an AT6 or SNJ with German markings on it.  I think the German headquarters got some calls from our Commander that day!  EDMO

I would think that the 34 would be with the plane level.  Would that put you in the ballpark?  If your plane is level with that 77.4 reading, then could you actually be measuring the reciprical and it is 12.6 degrees?   EDMO

What about using CASWELL?  That might do both things.  You wouldn't need to slosh - just pour it in with the tank leveled.  EDMO

Are the baffles moving about, or just partly separated from part of the tank?  As long as they are holding in place I don't think it would be a problem, although it is cause for worry.  I would think that the same epoxy that was used to make the tank was what held the baffles in place.  EDMO

Maybe the 80 is going to be discontinued?  Probably costs the same to make a 100?  EDMO

Keep checking Barnstormers.com/kitplanes or projects.    A Kitfox 2 was just on ebay and didn't sell for $11K.   EDMO

Jim,  Is the LEAF catalog still valid, or is CPS the place to look - are the catalogs on internet?   Thanks,  EDMO

I sometimes see Warp Drive Protractors on ebay - They are / were like $35 new.  Never have seen a GSC.   EDMO

Jim - That would not be a shock to me - I have heard what Rotax wants for their "stuff" - My price would be half of that for new parts, and of course, get smaller for used stuff.  I think the stuff I have coming is new, but have to wait and see what I get.   I may be asking you about new prices.  Reasonable (whatever that is?) offers accepted.   This engine has been taking up space in my storage since 2003.   Guess I could put starter on ebay, but haven't taken the time to remove it.  EDMO

Jim,  I don't know what a fair price would be - It is still on the engine, so I don't know how it attaches - I can look/photo.  Engine still has stator, coils, etc., but heavy part of engine probably not worth shipping costs.    EDMO
