Is there room in-between the Climate Change "Believers" and "Non-Believers" for an "Agnostic"?  What does "Computer Spying" have to do with Climate Change anyway - Because Al Gore is responsible for both?   I doubt that he is that important - He just cashed in on both!  Oh Bummer ripped-off the taxpayers with his "Green Energy Solar Panel Company" and Gore and Pelosi each pocketed millions by selling their stocks before it folded.  (Insider Trading)?  EDMO

You probably wont find a zip-tie that will hold the pressure - spring compressor is threaded rod or rods with hooks or bars on each end - need one for each side of spring.  You can probably make them.  Be careful.  EDMO

Paul,  I went to McMaster catalog and could not find "Rulon Bushings" - the link you posted was not in blue to click on it, but typed in name and "nothing found". - I found some (forgot code) (think it is Polyethylene?) with the right OD (3/4") in MSC catalog at $10 each - most are smaller OD.  Still thinking on different ways to get it done.  Maybe have a better way to split Oilite bushings?   Thanks,  EDMO

I put an "Avid Specs" chart in Files and Forms that gives info on all models, including wing info, Magnum and Catalina.  EDMO

I've got the little manual that tells how to do basic aerobatics in one.  I think it is just a short wing built to HH standards with Speedwing ribs.  Now I am uncertain - Are you saying Avid Aerobat or Kitfox Speedster?  EdMO

Exactly what do you have and what do you need?  I have lots of extra Kitfox parts and pedals - Donno if same as Avid Mk4.  Photos really help.  EDMO

  9. EDMO added a post in a topic motor mount?

YES, BUT you will have to either modify the mount or put some bushings on your firewall to match the mount.  Going to be nose heavy - I extended the leading edges on my wings about 4" and enlarged the tail - moved battery to tail.  EDMO

  13. EDMO added a post in a topic Another dumb question

I don't have a mixture control for my 5200 Holly carb, but I had my 318 Plymouth up on Pike's Peak, and over Loveland Pass, and it was "still climbing"!  Guess the Soob with the same carb should get me off of the ground and higher than I want to go.  EDMO

Good try Nick, but another strikeout - seems like no one is selling SPLIT bearings or bearing halves.  I tried to split one myself, but not accurate enough on my cuts - I have some more to try on, but maybe I will order some MDS nylon and see if I can cut them to make them work.  This is bearings for my aileron belcranks, and I have to fit them on a continuous tube.  EDMO

  15. EDMO added a post in a topic IRMA COMING !!!

I had a 6 gauge, Muzzle-loading, "Elephant gun" once but never fired it.  I think the slug weighed 2 ounces.  My Grandfather said they used to hunt ducks and geese with a 2 gauge "Punt Gun" strapped to a duck boat.  I saw a video once of a large guy who was shooting both barrels of a 10 gauge magnum at the same time and he survived it to dispel the myth that it would break your shoulder - probably would have put me on my ass!
.44 and .444 and 45/70 were enough for my small frame.   People get into trouble when they go hunting with a "Deer Gun" up there, when they should be hunting deer with a "Bear Stopper"! .45 Casule has so much kick that the bullets come out of the case and jam it up when you need it - Beware!  I probably should be selling my guns now since I don't hunt or shoot anymore.  EDMO
