Nice runway....i make my runway in the field ..1800'x90'...first year a big tractor make the "labour" i dont know how you said that in english..in same time he make me two ditch..next year i start to working with my old tractor and iron way rail ( 39' total lenght) i weld two chain on rail and i working with that like a grader...and i doing that all the summer ,,,day and night;)...
A voice in my head say's " do it...and they will come". Lol...
Now my runway are pretty flat ,full of new grass and i need to roll on with an compactor to remove all small bump...

just to make it more clear...kitfox have 3 kind of flaperon...the older one are really flat bottom...the next on are asymmetrical but not flat...and the new one are symmetrical..

I think the drop wing tip have better control at slow speed...because the vortex at the tip stop down on the side of wing tip..and whitout the vortex it under the wing...?? That is the result of my reserch.....

4140 sound good for that job...and i take some info on net for reinforcement on fuselage around the gear attach section ..i want to make it before covering..

Oh...to...do you think it will be good to put a good rubber spacer between the spring and his stopper to absorb the hammer hit when the spring is fully load??? I think it's can really help .where i working ( undergroud) we have a very good red rubber ,they call that linateck..im not sure how is write..but it is really really strong...

Hi guy's it is very cool post......do you think it will be better to used a good grade of stell than 4130 ( i think 4130 it not very hard metal)
You can stay with same size but more strong,less weight..4130 is easy to bend..it is a great metal for aicraft frame ,but for landing gear???
