    That usually means someone took a wrecked Kitfox or couldn't get the paperwork done,  fixed it up and is selling it as a Raven either way Im sure it would make some one a nice plane

    could you just get two of the smaller reservoirs and link them together that way you can keep them higher on the fire wall, Or lay up some fiberglass to match the curve of the firewall, Boy the thought of pre mixing all the time sucks, Yeah yeah yeah I know alot of guys do it but not me, I don't fly enough to keep the octane level in the pre mix high enough,

    Just a thought here, If you were doing a lot of banking back and forth could have the gas in the float bowls sloshed back and forth and flooded the engine for a sec, Was it that kind of vibration?

    I built this one and never used it, Not sure it would be worth selling, I only have like 10 bucks in the aluminum plate, A band saw and a sander makes them quite easy,

    At your highest angel of attach the tank outlet should be at least level with the inlet of the pump, Higher is of course better but the oil in the tank should create head pressure as well.

    Built the oil lines today and filled them with oil so far no leaks, First time making AN Hose for me,

    Fabric For Me Mr. Mostly because I like the way it looks. You could easily do a small amount of super fill and paint and I believe they would look just fine,

    The black on the cowl is ppg, Omni but the blue is poly-tone left over from the fabric,

    So did you preload this spring 2 inches or did you build a whole new mount to hold the spring, I'm in the designing stage right now, Thinking about building a whole new setup that holds the spring, I guess my question is, if you preloaded the spring 2 inches do you regret it or does it work great the way it is?

    Talked to my Local DAR last night here is his exact words,
    Read FAR 45, in detail 45.21.  2 inch letters are required for the experimental placard.  No ornamentation is the defining statement.  That allows for other fonts as long as they are not ornamental such as Old English, shadow fonts or scrolled artsy crafty stuff.

    I second that, when I drilled mine I set the most inner one and the most outer one then pulled a string right at the flaperon spar center spaced down 3/4 Inch,  then set the middle ones,

    Decals?
    I think the N Number needs to be 3" tall and square Block numbers, But does the Experimental decal also need to be the square block letters Or can I choose any font, the reason I am asking is because I am ready to have a lady make me some stencils for this stuff,

    All set up now to run Gravity Feed and Or the electric Faucet Pump, decided to put in a Fuel pressure gauge to see how its doing since my MGL is to old to have that option, also thought that would be a nice spot to have my low fuel header tank light,

    You Boys in AK sure find alot of Avids, Winging it is usually fine 90% of the build is common sense, If you run into issues just ask of there is a manual on this site, I like that in your posts you add pictures, Keep it up,

    Use baby oil on the aluminum ones, with wood just push harder, And hose clamp the attach bracket on then drill after the wings are rigged,
