A small strip of plastic or aluminum glued on to the fabric to screw through should work fine, Otherwise Velcro to try it first,

I see you got two different spar size holes in there, Are you using the big tube for the flaps and sliding the small spar through the other to run your Ailrons? I'm sure you know this but Don't forget that the brackets that hold the smaller tube needs to be a bit longer before they get welded up,

Better be careful, you get the windows in that means its ready to fly, and that means you'll be looking for something to do.

Well I called Pete at Jabiru today and he said before you start cutting your counsel apart to re wrought fuel lines try a different spring in the pump, He is sending me one he says that pump should put out 2psi Max and mine is at 4.5psi He claims the weaker spring will lower the pressure, He also says every Jabiru high wing he has ever flown in has the engine driven pump. Its kind of like Jim says Everybody has to do what there comfortable with, Guess for some reason I need positive fuel pressure ha, I see an awful lot of Rotax engines out there running a fuel pump, Think I can make her work,

What do you use for an H channel.
Or what about a fiberglass window frame that is about an inch wide laid on to your window for a perfect fit, Then cut out the window underneath and rivet the top of the frame to the existing window, the fiberglass would act as a hinge, If you only want it to open like 3 inches, Sounds really nice in my head, not sure if that makes any sense on paper,

    Fuel system advice
Hey guys I need some fuel system advice here, I am debating weather to run gravity feed with a back up electric pump on my kitfox and eliminate the mechanical fuel pump, I have plenty of fuel flow at the fire wall,  but the fuel line needs to make a funny angle and raise up 2 inches to hit the carb, I know Jim has had success running gravity, But this funny bend has me worried, Have a look at my picture, I made a mock up sample fuel line and taped it to the fire wall to show you guys what it will do, Lets hear some thoughts

Ok so I took some close up photos of mine, I know its different but uses the same principals, Look at the photos and notice where I'm pointing to, On the sides of those rod ends I had to make a small tube that just fit over the bolt, what that does is turn the rodend into a high misalignment rodend, if that is not there when I would pull flaps the rodends would pull to the side and bind up, I had to do it with the up and down one too, What you want to do is move the stick in every direction with and with out flaps and take your fingers and wiggle each rodend, they should all have a small about of movement, if not there binding and could break. Hope that helps,

I bought one from Baileigh, It does work nice, but there is many cheaper ones on ebay for less than half what I paid, They look identical just different colors, I have learned the more money I spend on tools, the easier they are to use,

First time the kitfox has seen sunshine, not sure what was with the sound, It picked up the airplane noise but not me talking, ran pretty decent  but needs more gas, soon as I open it up it ran  the header tank dry, Oh well feels good to hear it run,

    designing your own plane?
If a guy wanted to design and build his own creation how would you go about doing so? Can you just start building and see what you come up with? I'm thinking something like the super stol gear, Larry's Tail, and them STI style wings like kitfox uses, All those parts have proven to work safe and well, really all that is left is filling in the blanks between,

dreamel works great for making the number 8 rib fit
Also I'm not sure if avid did it like kitfox or not but on all the hanger ribs there is a small piece of plywood that goes between the rib and the spar on each side, Needs to be glued in at the same time your gluing the ribs to the spar,
