How big is the battery, Could you place it right where the 9 gallon fuel tank usually goes or maybe  cut some tubes out and re design the front I think Lithium's can be mounted any direction,

I see the bike has spokes in the wheels, Is that so you can put a baseball card in there for the true motorcycle noise,

Do you need a spot to place the oil tank, when I owned a 912 it came with a new oil tank that had a nice mounting bracket, cant you just bolt it through the fire wall.

Started wiring up my radio today what a bunch of wires, had to make a nice little mounting plate for the headset jacks, think they will work nice there, not sure why it looks so dirty in the picture, must be a reflection, anyway enjoy,

Thanks Guys, I did a better check today and I made a mistake my main axles are .75 inch rear of the leading edge, which doesn't make much difference for what I was checking, also did some playing with the battery location, way upfront on the firewall it makes the rear scale read 39.5 lbs. if I stick it in the baggage area it reads 41.5lbs, think Ill stick it up front, thanks for the help guys,

yeah bush gear and plastic leading edge maybe has something to do with it along with a 3 leaf tail spring and 8 inch matco probally pushes the tail measurement back a bit, my battery only weighs 4 lbs ill play with it a bit in different spots see what it does, I would rather not mount it far back, I hate all those extra heavy 4 gauge cables adding weight,

My quad City Challenger never had them, I think those spars were 2 inches and maybe .049 could have even been .035 I flew it at 1000lbs all the time ha, but for some reason I needed 60" long Ibeam inside my 2.5 .083 spars, Weird how that works,

    Weight and balance
Hey guys I just did a quick weight and balance to see where I can place my battery, tell me if this sounds right, it has been so long since I have done one,
    Right Main=261
    Left Main=258
    Tail wheel=40
    total 559
    From leading edge
    Mains are 2 inches behind
    Tailwheel is 155 inches behind
if I did it right comes out to 12.94
If i'm doing it way wrong feel free to tell me, like I said its been a long time, I think the last one was when I got my license a few years back,

Well I was thinking of having it on there for the first 40hrs, they do make you feel safer during phase 1 test flying, mostly because it is sitting on the shelf rotting away, as for selling it,  there really not worth anything to anybody else, my other thought was to contact BRS and see if they would turn it into a soft pack for me, then I would just stick it in the baggage area, well see what happens over the winter,

(Vertical Launch System) Made by BRS you just mount it on top of your plane,

Thanks for the comments, but as much as i hate to say it, she may be ugly for the first 40 hrs of flight time, I'm considering installing my VLS that is just sitting on the shelf.  Up on the skylight I welded a couple brackets in early on in the build,

sat in it didn't have any issue with the stick, its only 4" wide also just take a few screws out and I can access everything under there, I think it is all turning out great,  just as it was in my head the day I Met Jim to pick it up,
