Make sure all your drag tubes are solid and not cracked at the bent ends. I glued a triangle piece of plywood in all them areas. Pressure test your fuel tanks. And don't forget to take some pictures for all of us.
I did mine that way too. One thing to remember when brushing the poly brush through is it will bleed through and try to glue its self to the tank so be careful. You don't want it to stick to the tanks in some spots and not the other. I guess one more thing you will have to put thicker seals under the gas caps otherwise the metal part of the caps will hit the fabric and the aluminum plates you need to glue the fabric to around the filler neck. One thing leads to another believe me.
Alot of people bad mouth Jabiru especially the ones that have never owned one. What gets me is when Rotax sends out bad untested valves and guys like Trent Palmer are sitting idle that seems to be acceptable. Anyway fly what you want to.
I just used clear pine from Menards. Pick a few boards up and buy the lightest ones and that look strait. Think you could also use Mahogany that usually feels lighter yet but I wanted the strength of Pine.
