  1. Urgently looking for a Rotax 912 engine mount for my Avid Flyer MK4 HH.
Waiting for a reply from Mark (avidkitplanes.com) but if anyone has one to sell I'm interested!
  2. Hi Avid Flyers!
I'm busy with a Rotax 582 to Rotax 912 ULS swap on my Mk4 and me being in South Africa makes getting an Engine mount extremely Expensive!
So I was wondering if anyone might have a Drawing of the Engine mount for the 912 so I can build one?
Or, If anyone could possibly build me one, but without welding it together? (Just the pipes and parts cut to the correct lengths) to help with shipping cost?
    Regards
    Carel
  3. Looking for good used Kitfox III 912 engine mount, smooth cowling.
    Thanks
  4. Hello, I am new to the group.  I am trying to do something a little crazy.  Has anyone installed a APEX in a 150?  I know this is not a Cessna group but if anyone has the information this group would.  I am looking for the Cessna 150M (1976) O-200A engine mount drawing.  I need the specs so I can have a mount made.  Thanks.
  5. not getting any response from the kitfox factory, so maybe I can make my own replacement rubbers for the 912UL mount KIII. I can't find the forum article that described how somebody did their own, and leads appreciated
  6. I have ordered a Gen 4 Jabiru 2200 and new engine mount since the regular engine Avid Flyer mount does not fit the new Gen 4 engine. So I am selling the Avid to Jabiru motor mount. $295 will take it. Or you pay to ship and buy it for a mere $199.00.
Also selling my 2200 with 700 hours STOH. It had a stuck hyd lifter that caused some wear on the #1 exhaust cam lobe.
I have replaced the lifter and valve and it has been running strong for 8 hours since. I will fly it until my new engine arrives the end of May.
Those interested who live near Corona, Ca Airport (KAJO) can see a demo.
A new cam is around $1K or I understand there are people that can rebuild that lobe.
    Make a reasonable offer.

  7. I seem to have misplaced the drawing I had for the Avid Flyer to Jabiru 2200 engine mount.
I am having my mount modified to raise the top two mounts 15 mm to accommodate the Gen 4 2200 engine.
If you have one let me know.
I believe it was made by SkyFox and would also fit the Kitfox 4.
