Ohio Bushplanes comes to Norcal

I had the distinct opportunity to lead Greg Swingle from Ohio Bushplanes around our circuit in his S-7 on Monday. If your not familiar with Greg and his antics check out some of the links at the end of this post. We were a flight of 5 and hit several locations. The group included 3 Rans S-7's, a gutted supped up backcountry 182, and myself. I was most impressed with the 182 driver. He stuck that airplane in places that make me pucker landing my Avid. The last strip was a 200ft 35 degree slope and after watching all of us he landed it too! I was super impressed!!

Looks like a complete kick in the ass! I wish I would have known about the ohio guys when they came up here last year! Greg has to be a kick in the ass to have a few beers with after a good day of flying!

All gregs vids are funny as hell... he has a few that have nothing to do with flying but are a riot..

He really acts like that in real life too!! He has put 1500 hours in that S7 in just a couple years. He flew it to Alaska the first time with only 70 hours TT as a pilot.
