June 2012 trip to the lodge

After a particularly shitty 2 weeks at work, and an even shittier first day at home, I loaded up and headed to the lodge at 11 PM. Good thing it never gets dark around here! A very smooth hour n a half flight and I was at my paradise get away and hide from reality place.

A few shots of the stay there. It was 7 days of pure bliss.

That is the float mounts that SkyStar came up with and sold with the kitfox. You can get the streamlined tubing from carlson aircraft. It is the cleanest system I have seen for the full lotus mounting.

Beautiful pictures Leni! I flew over the lodge on Friday and waved at Julie on the front deck. I figured I would only be able to land once so had to keep it airborne.

On a side note, if we ever wanted to do a lodge trip inthe summer and kill some pike or salmon, we can land at Bentalik lodge and Dan will run down in the jet boat and grab ya. Its about a 10 minutes ride in the boat from Lodge to Lodge.

I have been on Dans butt about letting me fire up that dozer and push in a strip. There is room enough to do it there too, but he keeeps balking at me on it. I may have to just go up there, get him drunk n passed out then jump on the dozer and get started knocking down some trees. Then he cant say no
