Looking for some landing gear part numbers

Just bought the bearings on Amazon for $17 a piece. Looks like Summit Racing has the races for $2 something a piece. Any guesses on a part # for the seal that goes in the back of the hub?

Wheel seal part numbers.  I've kept my old part boxes.

the originals that came with the kit   CR services 8763

I have replaced over the years with

National 471633  it has the dementions on the box  0.875 x 1.577 x 0.250

Car quest  471633

SKF 8763

Note from the Moderator...When you moved your mouse down to start typing in the box you accidently clicked the little S icon with the line through it. It's just another type of font you can do. I've done it a time or two myself.

I don't know why my reply has a line through all of it.  Can you read it?

From TKF forum:

NAPA crossed from the number #8763 for seals for me. My local Car Quest gave me the deer in the headlights look when I gave them that number.

(Bearings are SKS A6075 but were near $20 each!)

This may sound like a silly question, since I have a set of Matco W60 wheels and brakes for sale, and don't ever plan on buying parts for them, but the new owner might - Cant you buy the seals from Matco?

Is it the cost or shipping that prevents this?

OR HAVE I LOST MY MEMORY? Think Matco said to me that those original 8 inch are NOT their wheels -

Douglas, or something? Sorry.

The 8" Kitfox wheels are Douglass ATV wheels modified to take the Matco rotors and internal calipers.

The center hub and axle are also not standard aircraft fare, either.  The hub is a modified AVT part and the axle is custom machined round stock (or sometimes tubing).

OK - think I might remember this the next time it comes up. One person had told me that Kitfox had their own wheels, and another said Douglass - I knew KF didn't make them. I've got a set of Grove wheels that I intend to use now.

Thanks,

+1 on the Grove wheels.  I got a set of the "tubeless" wheels for the Mangy Fox.  I can't wait to try them out at low pressure...

I found the exploded view of the wheel and hub assembly from an old Kitfox manual on line for your viewing pleasure. I only paid $17 a piece for Genuine Timken bearings on Amazon.com. Thanks for the cross part numbers. It would be nice to be able to get them at the local Kragens or Napa and get my Military discount.
