I went and looked at one of the kits that popped up for sale nearby, interested in buying it. Quite a plane and much more of a Magnum sized plane, than MKIV that's for sure. It was a very cool plane and I would love to have it. problem for me was that the wings are made entirely of wood to generat the eliptical plan form. Each wing contained about 10,000 complex pieces. My fear was the possibility of ground loop tip touch and I would be trying to (re)assemble a 10,000 piece puzzle!
