Leni, Randy, Anybody,

Are 30" x 13 x 6  Airstreak Tundra Tires to large for an AVID?

YES... 31's are almost too big for a 185. 26's are about perfect.

Are you saying the 26's are perfect for AVID or for 185.  I am considering the Goodyear 26" tundra tire.

Thanks

I'm still real happy with my 21s. At $100 apiece is pretty nice too...

I am using the same tires as Larry is, with about 9lbs of air pressure. I like them also, but I do not fly out of rough strips very often.

I have 21's.  However, I fly into pretty rough places.  Just considering something with more cush.  Thanks for your replys.

What are you calling pretty rough places? I haven't found a place yet that I had any business being at that my Nanco's couldn't handle. The 26's on Kitfox 7 seem to work pretty sweet. A guy on here put 29's on his 582 powered Kitfox and I don't think he liked the hit in performance. Herman....?? The thing with bigger tires is they also tend to equal bigger cahones and get you into trouble. The 29" Airstreaks are $2100 a pair. I know they are lighter than full on bushwheels but a 29" bushwheel weighs in at 31lbs a piece!
