Joey, do you know if this manual was tailored to a particular avid model?

It was the b or c model.. I have the additional pages for the mk iv too that shows the upgraded cooling etc. I used this manual for my c model rebuild.

Question on the manuals, I know you said they are taylored to the b and c models. Will they work for the A model and if not is there manual out there for the A model?

The A model manual is not very complete, half as thick as later ones.   Most everything in the later manual should be applicable to the A model.  Rigging flaperons and such should all be the same as they use the same linkage.  The A model came with a Cuyuna engine, so you probably aren't using that anyway.  Early brakes were cable operated, later of course went to hydrolic ones.  Jim Chuk

I can open the files above which contain the entire manual. Is no one else able to open them?

TJay, try opening the files I just posted in the original thread.  They should now open up and they have the MK IV additions as well... at least in as much as I had in the manual I had with my plane.
