Yes it's an early 65 car. Some call them a 64.5 as there are lots of subtle differences between it and a 65. It's my wife's toy. It currently has a tired 302 in it. I am dropping a dressed Ford Racing 306 crate motor in this winter. 340HP and 350 ft/lbs. Nothing too insane as she drives it most of the time but should be plenty of power to make it an even funner cruiser.

Cool on that! I raced an 86 t bird with a 351C in it circle track, always loved the older mustangs, but my dream car is an AC Cobra with 427

Kool Joey,

I had a 65 2+2 Red fastback - but coolest Tang I ever saw was my fellow worker's: a bronze,(57 Chevy color), 65 convertible with the rear fenders extended back to match the bumper of the Continlental Kit, if you can imagen that - wish my photo hadn't burned up.

Here are some random pictures. I love to kayak by plane. It combines some of my favorite activities. Great fun getting to cool destinations, kayaking when I get there and great fun coming back. Another thing I really enjoy is plane camping with my girlfriend. I had my Magnum set up to carry boat, bike, camping gear, the works. My 582 MKIV could not carry the bike or as much gear, but I could still carry boat and camp solo or camp with my girlfriend dual.

Haven't posted much on this site but I sure do like this forum and thought I would add some pics. I have conversed with Joey back in the day on the PPC forum when I decided that PPC's are fun but going 30 mph in circles gets old when you have as much money tied up in a PPC as what a Kitfox or Avid costs. And oh yeah, you get to go places in a Kitfox or Avid.

Great pictures Joey and Chris, you guys sure know how to use this planes!

Question to Joey; any feed back on the long spring landing gear (bush Gear)?? performance, ground handling, weight? drag?

I would love to have a bush gear but I think they are too long, more easy to bend?? perhaps??

Regards

Dimi3
