DO you know what happened 163 years ago this Past summer... September 9, 1850?

California became a state!!!!!
The people had no electricity.
The state had no money.
Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
There were gunfights in the streets.
So basically nothing has changed except then the women had real boobs and the men didn't hold hands.

That, my friends, is the history lesson for today.

And, a young Illinois lawyer was getting ready to run for president.

10 years later, he tried to force his liberal beliefs on the nation.

The war that he started killed 600,000 of his fellow Americans, and left 1 million addicted to morphine

Actually, the Tyrant Preacher, John Brown, from Kansas, had started the battle - Lincoln just made it worse.

America was bankrupt.....

And, they re-elected him for a second term!

And, what Illinois lawyer was recently running for a second term and said he wanted to be just like Lincoln?
