Very nice. I'm jealous. I can't seem to find time for my airplane project, much less my car projects (all of our cars are projects).  :P

This is kind of dated but I figured I would update this thread a little bit more. The last project I did on the Mustang was restoring the trunk and modernizing it a bit. I sprayed the trunk with the spray in bedliner and redid the lid with paint and new seal. I also installed the insulation from a Ford Taurus junk yard car. Quieted it down a lot.

What I started with. Original color and divider missing

First coat on the lid. I just rattle canned everything. Only person that sees the trunk is me.

Suggestion:   There is a rust conversion coating that you paint on - We used it in the Coast Guard before painting - It turns rust black and stops progress of it.  Looks Good Joey.

Always loved the Porsche 911.  Is that about a 1970?

It's a '72. I'll start another thread. Again awesome job C5!!!

BTW I restored a '66 'Stang as far as paint inside and out, interior paint, under the hood and assembled all the bumpers etc. Guy paid me just to go that far and not to finish it. It has been sitting in a garage waiting to be finished for over 25 yrs.

Very nice.

I've always been a Mustang guy.

Last fall I bought a wrecked 2010 Mustang and rebuilt it over the winter.  I wanted the newer body style but didn't want to spend the money on one.  I looked around for a while and found this one with 12k miles on it and a very easy hit to the front that didn't even deploy the airbags.  It was a pretty easy fix that got me into a newer one for not a lot of money.  It drives like a brand new one.

Thanks for the kind words guys. If I never wire wheel a part covered in 50 years of crap to repaint ever again in my life I won't be upset. I have the utmost respect for guys who do concurs resto's. I have countless hours into this thing and it's amateur all the way. I can't imagine doing a rotisserie style resto.

Guys with car projects post a thread so we can see. Anything with an engine or boobs is welcome is here!

Joey,  That's the brown stuff you had in the Tang trunk - Must have been driven out of state or near the ocean!  Maybe back before CA became a desert!
