Another impressive two stroke flyer

Can anyone name this plane. Appears to be a tandem with great performance. This type of flying is right up my alley and his strips are what we routinely land on around here.

Must be an early one I've only ever been around 912 S powered Models.

There is an early model s-7 out at Big Lake with a 2 stroke rotax in it; I did not looked at it close enough to see which motor.  They progressively changed the S-7 over time and this one is noticeably shorter than the new model, and probably much lighter.

The one at big lake has a 582 in it. I looked it over pretty well when I was up there a few years ago after the helicopter dropped me off and I was waiting for a ride

I have a 1993 model S7 that had a 582 in it.  It flew very well with the motor but I changed it out for a 912ul.  Cruise speed went up some but  TO and climb remained about the same.  It was lighter and more nimble with the lighter two stroke but still sluggish by KF and Avid standards.  Fun airplane still
