Like the guy who bragged that his kid just said half a word: "Mother - "!

Happy MD to you too Leni....Loved the photo of the front parking/taxi wheel...It keeps Mother level and high enough to see the parade, or the rock in the taxiway!

When you have a big pair, rocks mean nothing!

Hope you have a fun trip to Hotlanta!

OMG - the bird you will fly in will have taxi/parking wheels on the nose!  Must be a modern fad - it may pass on in time?

I have time in nose draggers too.. they have their place in the world, they just don't easily go the places I like to take them.  I learned my lesson trying to land the tri-pacer on a cinder blow out west of Illiamna on an impromptu caribou hunt.. once was enough for me

If someone were to give me a 206 I damn sure wouldn't say so no to it just cause it has a training wheel in front.  I would fly the hell outta a 206 and have a great time doing it.  It just kills me that I would have to wear a pink shirt and frilly underwear every time I flew the damn thing. :lmao:

Takes REAL BIG ONES to fly a nose gear with a pink shirt and frilly underwear and land like the taildraggers do!  Any time you guys need some I will give you my tailors address!

This is what happens when the training wheel pilots try to land in TD domain.... If they are lucky they get a ride on an Alaskan Aircraft Carrier

You got to have a big one up front - and keep it up, or drag your ass!  A big pair helps too!

Was that Cessna on the Knik?

You don't need a forward parking wheel if you have Water Wings!

I cant swim, and getting old and too tired to prop engines and fight against physics of a CG behind the mains.

  - a day in the J3 or Luscombe wears me out - going to have a starter on this tricycle....

Our flying down here is a lot tamer than flying in Alaska.  If I was still up there it would be a different story..

I was always told, "It's not what you fly, but how well you fly it".

Wonder where you can buy a pink shirt with snaps?
