???  I put the Model IV main gear in the Classifieds. I believe gear on the IV-1050 and IV-1200 is the same, but someone asked me if it is also interchangeable with a Model III? thanks

1050 vs 1200 = carry-through tube thickness (at the main spars and the lower strut mount), wing strut diameter and height of the tail

(I think are the only difference.)

Larry - does your 4-1050 fuse have 3 or four gear brackets per side? I found the history time line on the KF website which says that main gear was beefed up with the 4-1200 Classic, but now I still wonder if the 3 and 4-1050 used the same gear and attach points? Pretty sure what I have is off a 4-1050 but if anyone knows the tube measures I can check to be sure. Here's another pic if you can tell with a look see only, I'll leave it big so it's easy to see...

Doug,

Here are a couple of pictures of the 1050.  There are (4) four attach points on the longerons for gear/floats.

Look at that wiring.  It is everything that Smitty's plane was not!!!  For that alone, I couldn't pass this little bird!

Wow, what a pretty bird, that thing looks immaculate! Congrats and enjoy flying rather than rebuilding, sure wish I could find a bargain like that around here...
