any windshield overlap on fuselage but ribs?

Going to install the wings tomorrow (sat).  I notice I have about a 3/8" outboard overlap of the windshield on the wing root ribs. (windshield slightly larger than the cockpit width at the wing roots).

My hope is that the wing will fit underneath this?

Are these typically left in this manner or trimmed to be flush with the fuselage wing root ribs?

Leave the overlap as it helps weather proofing.

Be careful with your first fold,it can be rather tight.

If more clearance is required the skylight can be shimmed with tape
