turtle deck

hello all,

I ve got a question before i start to work on my turtle deck:

does the Turtle deck large to include root ribs or does it fit smaller ? (no including rear wing bolts )

with the pre draw line on metal sheet, it seems to be large as the ext root ribs...

Thank you, i'm confused because if i fit mine like that i loose all alignment and square of sheets..may be avid is different..

The Avid will fit pretty much the same as Doug's picture.  The sides of the turtle deck are pretty much straight up from the sides of the fuselage, front and back.  Jim Chuk

Efi,

I like your baggage area. Did you build from Plywood? I put one in the same location but after the plane was finished so it does not look as nice as yours and is built of Lexan.

yes it is marine plywood about 2,5 mm, i gluted it with P U and done some wood reinforcements under the floor, the cool thing with wood is that you can easily manage sandows inside to catch bagages and tools
