That is a damn good price if they are coming through kitfox. hell if your gonna spend that you may as well go for the $10000 stol wing. Did you ask Mr. John what they would charge you to ship the wings My guess is it would be around $600+

I didn't.  We might opt for the quick build option when the time comes.  It will be cost effective for me to pick it up, I'm only 6 hours away.

I backed out.  Nice guy, and based on information provided its a good deal for someone wanting an S5 and not a light sport compliant aircraft.

Its the wrong airframe/engine combo for what I want, and the fact it cannot be an LSA makes the deal unacceptable to me at this time.  The search continues...
