Alot of other forums that I surf that are not too busy have a chat box at the top of the main page where you can chat with other online members. Not sure if your software supports it or not but if it does think you could look into that?

I am working on that.. I thought it was part of the package, but it appears I get to spend more money I will get it up and running !
