Fun trip out in the Pacific

I just got home after a 10 day run out thru the Pacific.  Went to Wake Island for the first time. What a glorious site that little piece of land must of been in the 40s for the recip guys who had just flown 10-12 hrs over open Ocean using a sextant and a map. Enjoy the pics. I am so lucky to get paid to fly around on a DC-10. We were in Japan, Okinawa, Wake, and Hawaii. Drug some F18s from Japan all the way to Fallon Nevada in 3 legs.

Thanks Ed. I tend to only get the fun pics but if anyone really cares we did 45 flight hrs, two dateline crossings, offloaded 330,000lbs of fuel, and moved 8 fighters, 75 passengers, and 50k in cargo in just over a week. Work hard play hard

You are one lucky guy to be able to enjoy your work so much. I'm semi-retired and am jealous of your job.
