April Flying

We got weathered out by a marine layer on Saturday (April 2th), IFR and didn't lift till late afternoon.  Sunday (April 3th) was a lot better.  We still had some haze  but it was VFR so we went to the Skagit Valley to look for Tulip fields.  Interesting phenomenon,  the closer you get to a field of tulips the less color there is. Looking at a particular tulip field from above and green is the most color you see.  Maybe that is why there was no other air traffic in the area.  Not necessarily good viewing from above.  It was a nice excuse to go fly for a couple of hours anyway.

I have attached a YOU-TUBE link to the video for anyone that is interested.

Enjoy,
