250th Combat Mission

Flew my 250th Combat sortie last night over the skies of Afghanistan. I flew my first on the KC-135 back as a Boomer back in 2003 and then did a bunch hauling cargo into nasty places with the C5 and now back to refueling as an FE on the KC-10. Great crew this deployment!! The flag I keep with me in my pubs and has been on all 250 missions. I am testing out a new two piece tactical flight suit. So far I like it and being able to take your top off and just have a T shirt and pants on vs the flight suit is a God sent when it's 115 outside out and who knows how hot in the cockpit.

Totally different. It's closer to the Army OCP uniform. Weird pockets in weird places. So far I like it. Much more comfortable in the heat.
