Kitfox 1 CG questions

7 posts in this topic

Hi all, well I was doing the weight an balance on the Kitfox 1 now that I have the bungees back on, and have a few questions.  I don't have a Kitfox 1 manual, so I can't look there.   My questions are this.  How do you level the Kitfox 1 for doing the CG weights.   On the Avid, you put the level on the rib just inboard of the right liftstrut connection.    What is the moment dimentions for the fuel tank in front of the instrument panel, the wing tank, and pilot and passenger?  Thanks,  Jim Chuk

Did some searching and found the answers I was looking for.

Ha, ha, Ed I remember when you had a hard time figuring out how to log on to the site even and had to have your daughter do most of your 'computer work'. You're pretty quick with that scanner now, to our benefit of course. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Doug,  The true story is that finally my daughter said, "Learn it, or burn it"!  That was my choices!  Ha!

I am still learning.   EdMO
