Applying LOCTITE - what's so hard? Wait a minute, there's more to the story...

This video examines the proper application of each of the various kinds of LOCTITE used for the assembly and maintenance of ROTAX aircraft engines.

Many people take the application of LOCTITE for granted, and by doing so often apply it incorrectly. But a clear understanding of the correct application procedures is essential for assuring that full bond strength of the product is achieved. This is especially critical to your safety everywhere that LOCTITE is applied during maintenance or overhaul of your engine. For example, certain internal bolts used in blind holes require the proper LOCTITE application method; don’t do it right and your engine could suffer grave consequences.

This Rotax-Owner video explains key LOCTITE application information that you or your maintenance technician should keep in mind when applying any LOCTITE product to your ROTAX aircraft engine.
