Well sunday was a good day to reset the carb and cables what a pain in the &$$!!!! Hahahahaaaa but my little P brain got it, also decided was time for something fun so installed the 8.50-6 deser tires. Raised the prop center 7/8 of an inch, and killed 8.2 pounds.

Total weight of my bluefox #0038,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 492.8 lbs.

a later on battery change will kill 11lbs.

Got it made from a guy in TN.  Randy Moore, (731) 589-1330

4” extended up at firewall, backin plates moved out to 67” wide, a great guy to deal with.

I dont use the 3/4 stock axles is y there is a piece of pipe in the axel hole for his jig mountup, all my birds run 1 1/2” axels. Easier to play musical skis. Hahahahaaaa

New project for the planes, built it to haul either of my KF’s, with skis or tires, stock gear or extended gear just incase i want to take it someplace, and im tiered of a regular car trailer.

Still have a plastic crossbed toolbox, atv winch to mount on trailer with battery mounted in toolbox, and an 20gallon aluminum gas tank and a pump to put on.

Suggestion, add a scissor jack to the base of the fuselage with the tail wheel spring Bolts on, to get the weight off the tail wheel spring!!!

Thanks for the info, but i already did one of those for it. It pins to the trailer and to the rear pin hole in fuselodge for the factory towbar, and the winch pins on/off also to store in toolbox.

Well trailer was done b4 i loaded up the blackfox, and OPPS i must have added all the measurements together instead of splittin them to fit both planes.  So back it in shop and loaded/unloaded it probably 4-5 times to get it where i thought was right to fit both planes.  Got the sissor  jack pins done and cabled, And had the wife make me a few nice tiedown loops.

Well the new gear came in on Tuesday, got it mounted, squared up and backoff and took to powdercoater, should have it all back on Monday, and hope can find the replacement springs for the struts, they still avaliable from skidoo dealer, part # 503190854, but have to order and that b a week, but think found  them in town from Darby’s Performance Machine. Will know Monday on that also.

Very happy with the second set, did a nice job building them again, and added extra strenght, thicker metal on flanges ect. All the bolt holes where lined up and it is straight and square.

Nice work I should also do that to mine and see if it makes any difference.  I just hit 60hrs so I would think I would be able to notice a difference Maybe who knows Right.  I did that to the tail braces when I owned a Quad city Challenger And It took the vibration out of the tail But no difference on speed.

I also did that to my Challenger. Did not notice any speed difference. I added flying wires to the top of the horizontal to the vertical and that stopped all vibration. I don't know if the Fox would even have any tail vibration due to being steel tube instead of alum tube. And engine was closer and the tail was in the direct propwash.  Haven't seen any Avid/Foxes with top flying wires so must not be an issue.

This model 3 with a Rotec radial has upper braces. But he also enlarged the tail surfaces as well. Can't fold the wings if you do that.

That plane is gorgeous.  And I think Paul is a nice guy as well I bought a Rotec TBI from him this past Oshkosh He was more than helpful.
