It was one of our birds and our crews but not me. I flew that exact mission profile on Monday. I will tell you guys more once the investigation is over. I am obligated to keep my trap shut till then to protect the crew.

Absolutely keep yourself in the clear.  I'm not even that nosy about what happened - it was training, and in training, sh*t happens, that's why you train.  Much worse if it happens in theater with the pointy end folks suddenly in a trouble because their aircraft are out of fuel!

agree - but I am just nosey enough to want to know how this could happen - without putting blame on anyone.   EDMO
