Engine Mounts

I have a question on engine mount movement,I have a upright 582 mounted on a plate with 4 rubber mounts. It sure seems like there is a lot of movement when I grab a hold of gearbox and move up and down.Is this normal or are the mounts shot?They are used but look to be in good shape.I have never owned a 2 stroke so maybe they are fine.I never measured but I bet I can move the prop hub 1/2 inch or so.Seems like it would be flopping around like a rag doll when you powered up, Im aways off from starting it but guess I will find out. Mine moves a ton too Randy. Helps to smooth it out at lower rpms. Wide open it should not move much unless you have a unbalanced prop.
