Denali Flight

It was a beautiful day today so I filled the plane and headed for Denali; up the Yehtna River, then up the glacier, crossed the ridge to the Kahiltna glacier and then down the Kahiltna River.  About 4.5 hours and smooth as silk.Thought you all might like to take a Readers Digest version of the flight.  Sorry it doesn't do it justice like the real thing but still pretty amazing sight.

Awesome! Every time I scroll thru your flight pics I am reminded of just how beautiful but inhospitable these vast wilderness areas are. I think I would have the brightest, most gaudiest paint scheme possible if I flew in your backyard, at least the new electronics give you a fighting chance now in the event of an unexpected set down.
