Thanks to Lowell at Highwing llc for another beautiful set of cabane gear specially made for my avid Flyer. Fairings will be made in a few weeks.

looks good.  What tail spring are you running?  With that tall of a spring I am guessing most of your turning while taxing is done via brakes?  That's a pretty hefty angle on the chains to be getting mush input from the rudder on the tailwheel.

Looks like a 8" single arm Matco, just like mine.

I have that tail wheel as well.  I was asking about the spring.  It looks really tall to me and put the steering chains at a pretty hefty angle translating to minimal tail wheel control and a much lower AOA.  If I was oging big wheels and tall gear I would want all the AOA I could get to get off faster and land slower.  But that is just me :lol:

Aircraft spruce tailwheel #4 love the way it feels took a chance and after a little milling it's great
