[C5Engineer]

We had wind blowing 90 degrees to the runway yesterday. It was blowing about 12 at the runwa and quite a bit stronger at pattern altitude. I was out practicing my X wind landings. On one approach a 182 was in the run up area. He called me to say he would wait for me to land. I was like go ahead I'm just hang out here on base. I pulled on some flap turned base and did some slow flight. My ground speed 10 mph. I just sat there on base the whole time he did his run up and checklist. He came back over the CTAF and said " Nice hover what is that thing?" I was giggling like a school girl. My last landing Iflew down the side of the runway till I was almost abeam with the taxi way I usually exit on. I turned hard left and touched down right on the edge of the runway... I prob could have gotten it stopped in the width the runway. What a fun day. I was having an absolute blast. Did 8 landings in a 1.0 and got in some great X wind practice. 6 hours left till I'm done with my Phase I!!
