Tail Wheel Spring Attachment

The Avid Flyer Model C only has one bolt going through the spring.  I am curious if any of you have a picture of a way to secure the spring when using a two spring application.   I thought about a round clamp going through the fabric and around the spring 3 inches behind the single bolt.  What are your thoughts?

You can drill another hole further back from the first one so the bolts holds both springs.  Helps to have access to the inside of the fuselage to do that however.  Then you can see where to drill so you don't hit the tubing, but end up between them.  JImChuk
