Winding an alternator armeture

Hi all,  not sure where to place this.  Some had had stator issues recently, and when this video popped up, I watched it.  Thought I might learn something about repairing one.   I did rewind the stator on my Jabiru engine and it's still working today.  See picture below the video link.   Found it very interesting.  I'm guessing the Chinese didn't invent the technique being used, but it's interesting watching how it's done.  JImChuk

Pretty cool stuff! How long did it take you to rewind that stator? Mike

It really didn't take that long.  There are something like 36 or 37 wraps on each pole.  One continuous piece of wire, with each pole wound in the opposite direction of the one before it.  When I took the burned wire off, I counted it and saw how it was wrapped.  JImChuk

I had the burnt stator in my 582 . I thought about taking it apart but opted on buying another one.
