I just got home from a 10 day fighter drag. We took six F-18s from the East Coast to Japan and back. 7 legs, over 40 hours flight time, and 500,000 lbs of fuel passed inflight. Thought I'd share some pics.

Thanks for your service and all the pics, Joey. I found the Wake Is ones particularly interesting. Such a small place that holds a lot of history.

Thanks for your service and the pics.  Looking at them, I would sure rather do that trip in the KC-10 than an F-18!  If I was in the KC-10, I'd start messing with the F-18 pilots about halfway through a leg.  Start talking about all the iced tea I drank, make sounds like running water, then tell them oops, gotta run to the bathroom...... :P

Cool Joey, thanks. You should start an umbrella collection from all your travels lol. I saw the 499 knots and got to wondering what the KC-10 #'s were. If anyone is interested, here is a LINK

If you look two more blocks down you'll see the GS (groundspeed) of 600kts that's what I was trying to get a pic of. We had a 102kt tailwind.

Great pics Joey, thanks for sharing them.  There is a lot of history there all right, a good reminder to us of the sacrifice of our fathers and grandfathers for us, and everyone in our military today still defending us. Thanks Joey!
