Hi,

I've been flying Cessnas for years and finally made the jump to an Avid Flyer Speedwing.  During my first flight the first thing I noticed was the increased noise in the cockpit which made it really hard to hear the radios. All I could really hear was the engine and prop noise through my mic over my headset.  I'm currently using a David Clark H10-60 headset with an M7-A mic on a boom.  This was never an issue in any of the Cessnas.

Looking for economic solutions for some sort of VOX inline adapter or a low cost VOX headset.  It would be nice to talk to passengers or just be able to hear the radios.

Steve

Check out the thread "ANR headset. Is it worth the money?"

Wouldn't it be nice if we could buy an airplane and be done spending for awhile?  I've got tires & tubes, a better tailwheel and a propeller to buy.  Yikes!

Your DC headset is worth putting an ANR module in.

I don't know anything about headsets, but boy is that a cute little airplane!
