Hirth F30 Carbs (Mikuni Super BN 38)

Anyone out there have experience tuning Mikuni pump carbs? I have never worked on these type carbs. Having 4 of them seems to add a level of complexity that sucks....Figured i'd hit up the forum....

Engine running super lean and fast throttles all completely closed. I am thinking that with the extremely low manifold pressure and having a high pop off pressure (55psi) was the problem.

The pilot jet is a 77.5 and the high is a 80. The needle is a 1.5. This combo does mot line up with anything on Mikuni's charts.

I'm changing the spring to make the pop off pressure to 22psi. Any thoughts?

I noticed that you haven't gotten any replies to your question on the mikuni carbs. Have you typed mikuni pump carbs into the google search? There looks to be several utube vidios that might be helpful in answering your questions if they cover the right model carb.
