Museum of Aviation

I went to check out a plane in FL recently and Kenneth (Lostman) graciously offered up his new hangar home as a place to stay. We were close enough to visit the Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins AFB, GA and I would highly recommend this stop. It is the 2nd largest Air Force Museum and offers free admission to the general public. It has been operating for 3+ decades, there are 4 huge buildings and hangars chock full of planes, helos, vehicles, static and temporary displays, tons of historic memorabilia plus much more on the grounds outdoors. Here's a few pics.

Stopped there on one of my many trips between North Florida and Illinois.  Very nice museum that you don't hear much about.

Where is Kenneth now?  I'm in Lake City Fl, Cannon Creek Airpark (15FL).

Looks Awesome!  Have to make a stop there sometime!

Are you able to sit in some of them? Pretend like your Joey! ;)

Robins Air  Museum is an awesome stop if you're in the area.  We're having a Fly-In and Open House at KPXE in Perry, Ga., (about 8 miles from the Museum) on Armed Forces Day, May 19. If you're in the area, stop by and visit.
