Hello,

Just bought an Avid MkIV with the heavy hauler wings. Start working with instructor soon. Cart before the horse I know but having an airplane sitting there will be my motivation. Looking forward to first flight and many more.

I'm about 4 months late, but congrats on the purchase!  Your post caught my eye with the S. Oregon in the title.  I was born in Medford and lived in Klamath until 2012 (I'm in Salt Lake now).  Klamath is a great base from which to fly.

I want to be in your shoes, and am actively looking at an Avid Magnum that's for sale in the northern part of Oregon.

Cheers,
Jamie

very appealing paint scheme, I am sure you'll enjoy this bird. Make sure you got a good instructor though.

Just wondering what your empty weight is with the soob engine.....???
