I just had a set of the F7a bellcranks made by Mark from the new Avid.  He didn't send/make the shafts though.  I keep wanting to reach out to him about it.  Here is a pic.  I would go to the website and send an email to him.  Cheers Randy

Do these bell-cranks provide differential flaperon deployment?

Yes. The difference is noticeable while not dramatic. You will still need footwork to fly clean... I found them worth upgrading to.

How do they increase performance of the AVID?

They don't... but they slightly increase the pilots performance by modifying the flaperon deployment differential and thereby reduce the adverse yaw making it easier to keep the ball in center... It is a noticeable, but not dramatic, improvement.

That’s more like it! And fully worth the price.

The first f-7a bellcranks weren't available until about july of 1996. That is when John Larsen finished his development work and they went into production.

Me to.  My MK IV had them when I got it, and it was built in the early 90s.  He flew it a few hours and got scared of it and it sat in a hangar after that.  Didn't think he put the new style in, but maybe he did.  JImChuk

Hey guys, I would like to know if there is a difference folding the wings after installing the F7a upgrade?? More/less of a gap between the flaperons ?

Hmm,

I wonder if such a thing is available for kitfox mk2 ?

Or any way of setting it up to achieve the same result ?

Skelly.
