Airdale and NSI EA81 package

Hi all, first post here. Looked at everyone’s project and couldn’t find an example.

Has anyone put an NSI in an Airdale?  I am concerned about the oil sump tank fitting under the cowl and above the motor mount, and the thrust line height.  I’m looking forward to the upgrade but I don’t want any huge new headaches.

Scott

This engine was running in a Kitfox. It was designed for a model 3,4 and up Fox. Oil tank is mounted to the engine mount, which is included. It is a compact design, fit in a model 2 cowling fine with no modifications.

Thanks Allen-

I wasn’t familiar with how much additional clearance that big ol’ round engine kit fox cowl had and the motor and plane are 700 miles apart right now!
