4130 sale at Wicks

Wicks is selling off some of their stock of 4130 chrome moly steel for $.50 per foot.  Yes fifty cents per foot.  Granted it is not the most sought after sizes, but still.  I ordered a bunch of 7' sticks today, for $3.50 if I ever need that size I'll have a chunk.  UPS will ship 7' with no problem.  One size that I got more of was the 7/16" x .035 tube.  It would do just fine for widening the door opening on an Avid or Kitfox.  JImChuk

I checked out the Wicks 4130. The low cost metal is not only odd sizes, but it also is Chinese sourced. Does anyone have any experience with this Chinese 4130 from Wicks? I don’t want to make a big mistake.
