Pretty damn cool lil clip here, well worth watching! What a tribute to the guy who started it all, I only wish he could have taken that bearcat up one more time..

I was at an airshow in PHX and they brought in a B17... They had brought a guy to the airshow who had no idea what was going on. He flew that plane in the war and had thought it was destroyed.... By the time the reunion was over and we all saw him climb into that cockpit and take it around the patch a few times, there was not a dry eye in the crowd..

Pretty cool stuff,my old CFI used to fly Bearcats, some of the stories were mind boggling. He said there was nothing like the sound of a 14 ft. prop when you put it in a dive.He later flew jets and still liked the old Bearcat. Thanks for the neat video. Randy

Very awesome video Leni!! Thanks for posting. The last 20 seconds of that video say it all.

This one is repeat but some of the newer members may have missed it. Seeing the look on those WWII era guys when they are watching these airplanes dang near instantly chokes me up. I can only wish hope and pray that someday I'll be 80 and see a plane I used to fly taking the sky.

NICE, you just cost me another 25 bucks cause I had to order that DVD... The trailer shoulda shown him taking that bird back up not his grand daughter. Still looks like it will be a good one to get some history out of!
